The economy in the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district, situated in the north-
west of the German state of Brandenburg, is particularly diverse. Highly
productive businesses, mainly in the fields of plastics / chemicals, metal
working and the food industry, have established themselves here.

goods here that are in demand both in Germany and abroad. Healthcare
