eine lange Tradition der Holzbe- und -verarbeitung an.

den und OSB-Platten und einem der größten Herstel-
ler für Brettschicht- und Konstruktionsholz in Europa,
wird dieser Wirtschaftszweig in der Region vor allem

A growing sector using
renewable resources
The wood-processing industry in the district is tied up
with a long tradition of wood processing. As well as
one of Europe‘s leading producers of laminate flooring
and OSB panels and another European leader in glue
laminated wood and construction timber, this branch
of the economy also includes mid-sized businesses,
which make innovative products in industrial timber
construction. For all these businesses, the Ostprig-
nitz-Ruppin location offers the advantage of short
supply routes for the wood raw materials - thanks to
local availability and an excellent situation for recei-
ving supplies from all over Europe.
