Die verkehrsgünstige Lage an den Autobahnen A24
Berlin-Hamburg und A19 nach Rostock - im Herzen
Nordostdeutschlands - war und ist ein starkes Krite-

nehmen. Zahlreiche Gewerbegebiete liegen direkt in
Autobahnnähe und verkürzen dadurch die Transport-
wege auf ein Minimum. Mit der Anbindung zu den
Häfen nach Hamburg und Rostock, zum Elbeport in
Wittenberge im Landkreis Prignitz und dem Güter-
verkehrszentrum Wustermark im Landkreis Havelland
liegen wichtige Logistikzentren in attraktiver Entfer-
nung. Aber auch für die Luftfahrt bietet die Region mit
dem Verkehrslandeplatz in Kyritz und dem Flugplatz
Ruppiner Land in Fehrbellin interessante Alternativen
für Privat- und Berufsflieger im Nordwesten Berlins.

The convenient situation on the A24 Berlin-Hamburg
motorway and the A19 to Rostock - right in the he-
art of North-East Germany - has always been a major
factor in the choice of location for logistics companies.
Many business parks are very close to the motorway,
keeping transport routes down to a minimum. With the
connections to the ports in Hamburg and Rostock, to
the Elbeport in Wittenberge in the Prignitz district and
the Wustermark transport centre in the Havelland dis-
trict, major logistics hubs are within easy reach. The
region also offers interesting alternatives in terms of
private and commercial air travel north-west of Berlin,
